Patrick P. Salisbury

Mr. Salisbury is a founding partner of Salisbury & Ryan LLP and has practiced law in the United States and Europe for over 30 years.  His practice focuses on international arbitration and commercial litigation, representing clients in arbitration and litigation throughout the United States and in numerous foreign countries.  He regularly represents public and private corporations in disputes before various international arbitral tribunals, under a wide variety of arbitration rules, including:

Mr. Salisbury’s practice encompasses a wide range of industry sectors including energy, nuclear and conventional power projects, mining, construction, aviation and shipbuilding.

Mr. Salisbury’s litigation practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, generally involving matters with cross-border aspects and international parties.  He regularly practices before many U.S. Federal Courts, as well as New York State courts, and has successfully argued cases before numerous courts of appeal, including the Second and Ninth Circuit Courts and the Circuit Court for the District of Columbia.

Mr. Salisbury also represents clients in negotiating commercial transactions involving a wide variety of matters including acquisitions, joint ventures, financing transactions and complex contractual arrangements of all types. Prior to forming Salisbury & Ryan LLP, Mr. Salisbury was a partner in a major New York law firm, living and practicing law in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Saudi Arabia.  He is admitted to practice law in New York, California and Washington DC.
